Nammalwar Mokshothsavam was celebrated in Divyasaketham concluding the Adhyayana Uthsavam under the aegis of HH Ahobila Jeeyar Swamiji and HH Devanattha Jeeyar Swamiji. Pasurams were sung before the lord. Nammalvar was taken in a procession round the temple chanting the last thiruvaimozhi with trumpets and drums simulating the scene of jiva reaching the Lord in paramapadam. Then Nammalvar was placed at the Lord’s Feet signifying Nammalvar reaching the Lotus Feet of Lord. The goshti concluded with thirttha and prasada goshti.
