Vijayawada Urban Level Competitions – Thousands of Students Participated

15th Sep 2016, With the blessings of H.H Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Srimannarayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, students from various schools have participated in many categories of competitions such as Elocution, Comprehension, Drawing, Singing. The areas of expertise that the children exhibited included Srimad Bhagavad Gita 6th Chapter – Aatmasamyamayoga, History of Bhagavad Ramanuja etc. Students from grades L.K.G till 10th came to Sitanagaram asram to seek blessings of Sri Swami. Winners were given prizes by Sri HH Srimannarayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swami and HH Ahobila Ramanuja Jeeyar Swami. Parents and teachers were extremely delighted for the event that VikasaTarangini conducted because their children got exposed to the values that our rich culture provides. Around 4000 students participated in these competitions in school level. 806 students participated at mandal level & 68 students participated at district level. PRAJNA Books were also given as prizes.

The students were divided into categories and competitions were held in the groups as per the child’s grade. 27 prizes were distributed at mandal level and 24 prizes were distributed at district level. Srimd Bhagavad Gita books, Hayagriva Sthotram books & Participation certificates were given by Sri HH Ahobila Swamiji to all students at Sitanagaram.
