In Divya Saketham, 7th Annual Bramhothsavams started with all religious fervor.
One the first day, Surya Prabha vahanam procession was conducted in the morning and in the evening Lord appeared as Mohini on Chandraprabha Vahana. HH speaking on this occasion, described in detail the significance of Bhramhotsavams. Lord Narayana asked Bramha to start creation. Unable to bear the separation, Bramha requested Lord to be with him always. Lord then gave Bramha His Archa form and asked him to begin creation. Bramha first created devathas to assist him in the task. Taking the support of devathas, Bramha started creation. One year passed successfully and Bramha celebrated the completion by conducting these uthsavas to Lord Narayana with great joy.
As part of this ritual, Bramha wanted to show how all the 84 lakh species are supported inside and outside by the Supreme omnipotent Lord Narayana. Few species were selected and made vehicles for Lord. Thus Bramha showed how Lord existed in every object, plants, stones, animals, sun, moon, in fact in all sentient and non-sentient beings. He conducted the mahothsava in Tirumala too and showed us how we can conduct such uthavams with love and affection. In the morning, the priests invited Garuda into the flag and hoisted the Garuda patam on the
dhwajasthamba. The scriptures dictate that childless couple will be blessed with a good child after eating the prasadam offered to Garuda during this ritual. Many ladies took that prasadam from HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji and were blessed.
Later agni madanam was performed. God of fire graced within a short time. Yajnam started with Veda vinnapaalu(chanting of 4 Vedas, puranas and divya prabandham)followed by Suryaprabha vahana seva. In the evening, after poornahuthi Perumal appeared on Chandra Prabha Vahanam. Devotees felt blessed.
